REU TOWN CENTER Reu, Guatemala

Seth Harry and Associates collaborated with Grupo Origo on the master plan for this extension of the existing town of Reu. A new traffic circle was designed to alleviate pressure on a major regional intersection and lining the circle are new commercial buildings.

An existing allee of trees was preserved on the site and formed to basis for a small pedestrian-only paseo. Arcades, awnings, and trees create a comfortable pedestrian environment throughout the project.

The project opened to great fanfare, and has continued to be a lively and vital part of the town of Reu.
